Power Plant Operator

Job Description

• Operate, regulate, and monitor boilers, chillers, generators, pumps, compressors, engines, HVAC systems, and other central plant equipment at St Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, repair, inspection rounds, water sampling, and chemical testing for facility systems.
• Maintain HVAC computer system parameters, meters, gauges, valves, and machinery to support safe operation and proper comfort conditions.
• Complete accurate CMMS work orders, equipment and area records, and documentation required by regulatory agencies; follow safety procedures and applicable codes.
• Requires a High School Diploma/G.E.D.; preferred qualifications include Certified Stationary Engineer, Underground Storage Tank Op A or B, and two years of power plant operator experience.
