Job Description

• Full-time Pre-K–12 teaching role in Mineola, NY, covering Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school grades and all subjects; work mode is not specified.
• Implement Uncommon Schools’ curriculum, activities, academic standards, and structured learning environment while supporting student success.
• Analyze assessment data to measure progress and differentiate instructional practices; respond strategically to student learning needs.
• Communicate with students, families, and colleagues; participate in professional development, staff orientation, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree and cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher; valid State Certification and Master’s degree are helpful but not required. Experienced teachers preferably have at least two years in an urban public or charter school setting. Compensation is $72,000–$115,000 per year.
