Job Description
• Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant in East Peoria, IL, supporting daily classroom activities and early childhood education programs.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, inclusive learning environment addressing children’s physical, social, emotional, developmental, behavioral, and IEP-related needs.
• Assist with developmentally appropriate curriculum, Cadence Signature Programs, classroom safety, supervision, incident documentation, and behavioral support.
• Requires state Teacher Assistant licensing qualifications, background clearances, health screenings, and applicable state education and experience requirements; CDA is preferred.
• Hourly pay is $15–$19.50; schedules are flexible and may vary based on enrollment, staffing ratios, and operational needs.
