Job Description
• Principal AWS Cloud Engineer serving as the primary AWS technical authority for MANTECH’s enterprise cloud team in Chantilly, VA; full-time role with no work mode explicitly stated.
• Design, deploy, secure, and optimize enterprise AWS infrastructure and automated security monitoring, threat detection, and event-driven logging pipelines across AWS, Azure, and OCI.
• Lead Terraform or CloudFormation IaC/CaC deployments, multi-account AWS governance, IAM controls, Service Control Policies, least-privilege access, permission boundaries, and Zero Trust architectures.
• Provide Tier 3 support, develop Python/Bash/PowerShell automation, remediate vulnerabilities, maintain system telemetry, and document workflows for audit readiness.
• Requires 7+ years of cloud computing/engineering experience, a bachelor’s degree or 4+ additional years of IT/engineering experience, DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification, and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph; compensation is undisclosed.
