Job Description
• Principal-level cryptography and blockchain specialist supporting U.S. Federal Government missions in cybersecurity, digital assets, cryptocurrency, and Web3.
• Lead R&D projects addressing zero-knowledge, threshold, and post-quantum cryptography; distributed ledgers, DeFi, DAOs/governance, smart contracts, and tokenized assets.
• Assess vulnerabilities, threats, risks, policy constraints, and technical requirements, then develop actionable frameworks to protect digital asset ecosystems.
• Requires 10+ years with a Bachelor’s degree, 7 years with a Master’s, or at least 5 years with a PhD; preferred fields include Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or Mathematics.
• On-site in McLean, VA at least 3 days per week; full-time; TS eligibility preferred, with no minimum or hire-by clearance requirement.
