Principal Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist

Job Description

• Principal-level cybersecurity role leading enterprise threat intelligence, AI-enabled cybersecurity operations, and security automation for the University of Miami and UHealth in Miami, FL.
• Develops threat detection strategies, threat hunting methods, cyber defense capabilities, incident analysis, response procedures, risk mitigation strategies, and security monitoring improvements across academic, healthcare, research, and administrative environments.
• Designs and manages AI-powered workflows, agents, prompts, playbooks, knowledge repositories, dashboards, automated processes, runbooks, and orchestration solutions supporting SOC operations, investigations, incident response, vulnerability prioritization, and leadership decision-making.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; any appropriate combination of education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
