Principal Labor Relations Specialist

Job Description

• Principal-level labor and employee relations advisor supporting business-unit leaders, management, legal counsel, and union leadership in the energy industry.
• Interprets and administers Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), advises on labor strategy, dispute resolution, contract administration, disciplines, terminations, grievances, and arbitrations.
• Leads CBA negotiations, grievance proceedings, and labor relations meetings as First Chair and Company Spokesperson; supports broader negotiations.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, or a related field and 8 years of progressive labor or employee relations experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
• Full-time role in Warrenville, IL with an expected salary range of $128,700–$143,000; SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification, an advanced degree, large/multi-site operations experience, and familiarity with change management, workforce analytics, and labor relations technology are preferred.
