Job Description

• Lead biomarker discovery and translational strategy for early- to late-stage oncology clinical programs, including pharmacodynamic and predictive biomarker strategies from first-in-human through registrational studies.
• Apply molecular profiling, multi-omics, spatial biology, single-cell platforms/genomics, functional immune assays, computational biology, and AI-driven platforms to identify therapeutic response biomarkers, resistance mechanisms, and tumor microenvironment dynamics.
• Author and integrate biomarker and translational content into clinical trial protocols, regulatory submissions, clinical study reports, and investigator brochures.
• Collaborate across Research, Clinical Development, Clinical Pharmacology, Companion Diagnostics, Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, and Operations, while engaging academic collaborators, investigators, and KOLs.
• Requires a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in a specified life sciences discipline; significant graduate/postdoctoral research with first-author publications; post-graduate industry or significant postdoctoral experience; and a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus in South San Francisco, CA.
