Job Description
• Process Engineer Intern with Echo Global Logistics in New Castle, IN, supporting manufacturing and logistics process engineering, production efficiency, automation, and quality initiatives.
• Analyze and optimize existing processes, collect and analyze performance data, support process improvements, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering; prior logistics experience in a climate-controlled warehouse environment is required.
• Requires analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, time-management, and project-management skills; familiarity with CAD or process simulation tools is a plus.
• Full-time, paid 10-week internship starting May 24, 2027; hybrid model advertised, with work at the Greenfield facility 5 days per week and travel to Echo’s Chicago headquarters as needed.
