Job Description
• Process Engineer role with Actalent supporting and improving manufacturing operations in Bedford, OH.
• Optimize wiring, sheet-metal and bus fabrication, welding, assembly, and electrical equipment processes through automation, Lean principles, waste reduction, and downtime minimization.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, flow diagrams, training materials, and accurate BOM, drawing, schematic, routing, and production documentation.
• Partner with QA, Engineering, Test, Production, and Operations teams on inspections, testing, root-cause analysis, preventive actions, corrective actions, and ERP/MRP improvements.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Production/Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline; 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience; and proficiency with Autodesk Vault, Inventor, and AutoCAD.
• Fully onsite, 50% on the production floor; Contract to Hire; $43.00–$53.00/hr; anticipated application closing date: Oct 25, 2026.
