Process Engineering Technician

Job Description

• Provide hands-on technical support for the daily performance, setup, and changeovers of a high-volume production line in a fully onsite Akron, PA environment.
• Troubleshoot production, tooling, and machine issues; perform in-process inspections and high-level maintenance to ensure conformity with customer and engineering requirements.
• Train and coach production operators while maintaining process documentation, work instructions, and training plans.
• Support continuous improvement, new part builds, quality issue resolution, scrap reduction, rate improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Requires an Associate degree in a technical discipline, process or manufacturing engineering exposure, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and preferred knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, soldering/wire processing, and IPC 620 standards; contract-to-hire, $22.00–$27.00/hr.
