Product Designer, Point of Sale

Job Description

• Full-time Product Designer responsible for end-to-end Point of Sale experiences serving restaurant servers, bartenders, and front-of-house staff.
• Design fast, intuitive, reliable, and error-resistant workflows for order taking, modifications, payments, splits, and voids across Toast terminal and handheld surfaces.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and cross-functional stakeholders using prototypes, storytelling, data, business metrics, and user research to drive design decisions.
• Requires 3+ years of product design experience, a portfolio demonstrating detailed and disciplined work, strong visual design, AI-first prototyping, and experience handling complex real-world constraints.
• Remote in the US or hybrid in Boston or New York; EST preferred. Salary ranges from $104,000–$166,000 USD to $133,000–$213,000 USD by geographic pay zone.
