Job Description
• Full-stack software engineering role supporting BNSF’s freight railroad, logistics, platform, product, and enterprise technology operations.
• Develop, test, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and operate large-scale distributed systems, APIs, automation, data platforms, microservices, messaging systems, serverless runtimes, and cloud solutions.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field, or 2 years of relevant software development experience without a bachelor’s degree.
• Requires modern programming experience, production software development experience, observability knowledge, secure coding practices, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Full-time remote within the contiguous 48 states, with up to 20% travel to Fort Worth, TX and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation; salary range is $93,750-$175,000.
