Production and Material Planner

Job Description

• Create and manage production and material plans, schedules, sequencing, orders, and material flow for an on-site food manufacturing operation in Centralia, IL.
• Use SAP and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams, to release orders, monitor execution, resolve master-data issues, and adjust plans.
• Coordinate with Sales & Operations Planning, Material Requirements Planning, Operations, Logistics, Warehouse, Procurement, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain supply continuity and mitigate shortages, capacity constraints, and delays.
• Support Lean and continuous-improvement initiatives involving efficiency, inventory optimization, cost reduction, and service improvements while ensuring food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and company-policy compliance.
• Requires a high school diploma, 1+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Full-time, on-site role paying $64,000-$95,000 annually, with facility walking, climbing, kneeling, repetitive tasks, and lifting/carrying requirements.
