Job Description
• Full-time, on-site Project Manager - Renewable Energy role with Kimley-Horn in Sacramento, CA.
• Requires 7+ years of Electrical Engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, and a Professional Engineering (P.E.) License or ability to obtain one within 12 months.
• Leads electrical design for renewable generation, energy storage, EV charging infrastructure, building electrical, battery storage, lighting, power distribution, and related projects.
• Produces electrical plans, layouts, schematics, calculations, one-line diagrams, specifications, cost estimates, proposals, solar system sizing, and power analyses.
• Requires knowledge of the National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, IEEE and ANSI Standards; preferred experience includes utility-scale PV, engineering project management, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, PSCAD, EMTP-RV, AGI32, Python, or MATLAB.
