Job Description

• Perform skilled fabrication, installation, dismantling, maintenance, and repair of structural members and ornamental metal structures in San Francisco, CA.
• Install and repair steel rolling doors, chain-link fences and gates, fire escapes, drop ladders, handrails, guardrails, play equipment, sash, window grills, and rebar.
• Fabricate parts and perform arc, oxy/acetylene, MIG, and TIG welding while maintaining shop equipment and supply records.
• Work at heights up to 220 ft, on scaffolds and mechanical high-lifts, in confined spaces, and in potentially hazardous or inclement-weather conditions; lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Pass a medical qualification examination for respirator use and wear face-fitting respiratory protection; some city vehicles may require a Class B driver’s license.
