Public Safety Officer (Greenspring)

Job Description

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and property at Johns Hopkins Health System in Lutherville, MD.
• Patrol facilities and grounds, monitor surveillance and access control systems, and respond to emergency and non-emergency incidents.
• Enforce organizational policies, prepare incident and activity reports, de-escalate situations, and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license with a good driving record, at least one year of security, public safety, military, or related experience, and successful background check and drug screening.
• Full-time position with rotating day/evening/night shifts; compensation is $17.70–$28.00/hour.
