QA Technician

Job Description

• Perform visual, dimensional, and precision inspections of optical components and finished products using calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, microscopes, and other quality-control tools.
• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections in controlled environments, including dark-room or enclosed “black box” inspection stations.
• Document defects, nonconforming conditions, inspection results, and traceable quality records; verify conformance to drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in root-cause investigations and corrective actions while collaborating with Production, Engineering, and other departments.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ years of quality inspection, manufacturing, or production experience preferred, and experience with precision measuring equipment preferred.
• Boulder, CO facility role; $21.00–$29.00 per hour depending on experience; position involves ITAR-controlled information and does not offer visa sponsorship.
