Job Description

• On-site Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager role with JCSI at JFK Airport in Jamaica, NY, serving aviation and travel food-service operations.
• Lead food safety and quality management systems, HACCP and preventive-control programs, traceability/recall, allergen controls, documentation, audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with FDA FSMA, USDA, cGMP, customer, and internal food safety requirements while conducting assessments, production-floor checks, microbiological testing, and process evaluations.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field; 5+ years of food safety experience; at least 2 years of management experience; PCQI certification; and HACCP experience.
• Recruit, train, coach, develop, and evaluate Food Safety team members while partnering with Operations, Production, Sales, HR, and quality leadership.
• Full-time compensation is $94,000–$140,427 base salary plus eligibility for a 10% target annual incentive.
