Job Description
• Perform incoming, in-process/WIP, first-article, and final inspections of fabricated, machined, and assembled components in an on-site manufacturing environment.
• Manage nonconforming materials, support root-cause investigations and corrective actions, and report inspection, quality, and nonconformance data.
• Conduct supplier source inspections and assessments, maintain metrology and calibration controls, and support supplier quality improvements; occasional local travel is less than 10%.
• Create and improve inspection procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and calibration documentation while supporting ISO 9001 internal audits and Lean continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Requires an Associate degree in a technical discipline preferred, or equivalent technical training and 3-5 years of manufacturing quality experience; knowledge of GD&T, ISO 9001, ASME-coded products, OSHA/EPA/DOT/ASME/ANSI requirements, and precision measurement tools.
