Job Description

• Radiation Physicist role with Northwell Careers in Staten Island, NY; full-time position with work mode not specified.
• Ensures safe, high-quality use of imaging equipment and radiation-producing sources, protecting patients and staff from radiation.
• Calibrates radiation therapy equipment, conducts equipment performance reviews, and implements imaging-device quality-control procedures.
• Implements the Quality Assurance program and ensures compliance with governing-agency regulations; recommends radiation safety procedures.
• Requires a Master's Degree or equivalent education and related experience, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and a current NYS Medical Physicist license and certification in the appropriate specialty area; additional specialized certifications may be required.
