Job Description
• Senior Real Estate Investment & Finance Counsel Attorney role with The People Of: Professional Services, based in New York, NY or Charlotte, NC; full-time, with work mode not specified.
• Manage complex, high-value commercial real estate debt and equity investments, financings, and transactions from initial diligence through closing.
• Structure and execute transactions; draft, review, and negotiate loan and other transactional documents; oversee title, survey, and other due diligence.
• Coordinate closing requirements and manage all aspects of complex transactional closings while exercising sound commercial judgment and matter ownership.
• Requires a JD, prior law-firm experience, at least 8 years of complex/relevant commercial real estate experience, and admission to the New York or North Carolina Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
• Compensation: $300,000–$450,000.
