RNs on 3800 provide direct bedside care, patient education, pain management, post-op recovery support, and discharge planning. The unit also operates as a Virtual Nursing Unit, with RNs committing to one virtual care shift per week as part of their schedule.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nProvides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care\n\nPerforms initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data (i.e. physical, psychological, educational and risk-screen data appropriate for the chronological / developmental age of the patient).\n\nCommunicates and documents assessment of patient with the interdisciplinary team.
