Job Description
• Provide electrical technical services supporting the Electric Reliability Organization (ERO), conventional and renewable generation fleets, and reliable power-grid operations.
• Manage and support compliance with North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) standards, including standards development, market requests, training, facility coordination, and violation prevention.
• Collaborate with project managers and third-party vendors on new plant builds and retrofits; support technical issues and develop as an SME for assigned NERC standards.
• Apply knowledge of protective relaying, plant electrical equipment, generator voltage control, power plants, and power plant modeling; proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
• Requires a BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with Electrical Engineering preferred; remote/virtual work capability and up to 25% day and overnight travel are required.
