Job Description
• Lead individual contributor owning performance, quality, production-readiness, governance, FinOps, lineage, runbooks, and Enterprise Technology handoff for innovation projects running on Databricks.
• Design and operate Bronze → Silver → Gold medallion architecture; tune Delta Lake, Spark queries, partitioning, caching, and Databricks cluster sizing.
• Manage full production ML lifecycles with MLflow 3.0, including experiment tracking, registry, deployment automation, retraining, drift detection, and retirement.
• Require at least 1 year running Databricks in production at the application layer, production ML operations experience, and expertise in Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, PySpark, Python, SQL, AWS, CI/CD, and testing non-deterministic systems.
• Remote outside 50 miles of State Farm hubs; hybrid within 50 miles of Bloomington, IL; Dunwoody, GA; Richardson, TX; or Tempe, AZ. U.S. work authorization required without sponsorship.
• Full-time role paying $100,000–$200,000 starting salary plus potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary.
