Job Description
• Research Financial Officer supporting Georgia State University's Office of Sponsored Programs and sponsored research portfolio in Atlanta, GA.
• Establish sponsored awards, prepare recurring and final invoices and financial reports, reconcile accounts, and manage accounts receivable.
• Monitor expenditures and financial compliance with federal, state, GSU, sponsor, award, and contractual requirements; recommend solutions to maintain compliance.
• Complete sponsored-project closeouts and provide professional financial support to the research community.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance plus 4 years of university or nonprofit/government fiduciary experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
