RN | Gastroenterology

Job Description

• Provide compassionate, patient-focused gastroenterology care and advocate for patients in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, families, and support systems.
• Independently apply the ANA Nursing Process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, coordinate, document, and evaluate direct patient care.
• Promote health and safe environments, evaluate patient outcomes, support quality improvement, and apply ANA professional performance standards, research, ethics, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain an approved nursing education program; hold or obtain AHA BLS certification within 60 days of hire or transfer and maintain RN licensure through the South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing for Wyoming facilities.
• Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of RN experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; role requires assigned schedules, very heavy physical work, and possible exposure to radiation, contaminated needles, and infectious body substances.
