Job Description
• Full-time, on-site Robotic Programmer role with JOST International in Greeneville, TN, supporting manufacturing automation in the commercial vehicle and agricultural industries.
• Program, configure, commission, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa/Motoman, KUKA, or Universal Robots used for welding, material handling, assembly, painting, palletizing, machine tending, and inspection.
• Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in robotics, automation, mechanical/electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience, plus 2-5 years programming industrial robots in manufacturing.
• Requires PLC interfaces and industrial networks, schematic interpretation, robotic motion control, OSHA and machine safeguarding knowledge, Information Security Training, and strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and quality focus.
• Key deliverables include reduced downtime, improved cycle times, successful automation launches, quality and scrap reduction, robot uptime, equipment availability, and safety compliance.
