Robotics Software Engineer

Job Description

• Develop, integrate, and maintain production-grade robotics software using C++ and Python for physical robots operating in complex outdoor environments.
• Integrate perception, planning, controls, teleoperation, and platform software; improve reliability through testing, validation, fault handling, performance tuning, and edge-case analysis.
• Diagnose failures spanning software, sensors, networking, timing, hardware interfaces, and distributed systems, and perform on-robot validation.
• Build developer tooling and infrastructure using Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, testing, simulation, telemetry, debugging, and visualization workflows.
• Requires a B.S. or M.S. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; 2+ years of relevant professional experience; and 5 days/week in-office collaboration in Milpitas, CA.
