School-Age Childcare Assistant – Before & After School

Job Description

• Provide on-site before- and after-school childcare at Crothersville Elementary School in Crothersville, IN, for the 2026–2027 school year.
• Facilitate fitness, STEAM, academic, art, group activities, and homework completion using the Healthy Kids Curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, fun environment and serve as a positive role model for children ages 5–12.
• Maintain compliance with state guidelines, program policies, and host-school policies while supporting attendance, registration, and staffing operations.
• Part-time, non-exempt role paying $14.50 per hour; requires age 18+, a High School Diploma or equivalent, health clearance including TB screening, and ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds; one year of experience with children under 13 is preferred.
