Job Description

• Scientist I role with Thermo Fisher Scientific in Detroit, MI; full-time and on-site, with no relocation assistance provided.
• Performs laboratory and manufacturing-process activities supporting process understanding, product readiness, investigations, CAPA, process optimization, and new product/process implementation.
• Uses MSAT laboratory equipment, HPLC, ICP, QMS and documentation systems; analyzes batch records, in-process data, samples, yield and scrap metrics.
• Requires a BS or higher in biological engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related STEM field and 0–3 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry settings.
• Requires GMP compliance, legal U.S. work authorization without sponsorship, comprehensive background check including drug screening, PPE use, lifting up to 65 pounds, and availability for overtime or nonstandard schedules.
