Scientist – Molecular Biology

Job Description

• Full-time, on-site Scientist – Molecular Biology role in Berkeley, CA supporting late-stage cell therapy products in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment.
• Develop, optimize, qualify/validate, and execute analytical assays; perform sample testing, experiments, data analysis, troubleshooting, and method improvements.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline; Master’s preferred, plus 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Requires mammalian cell culture, DNA/RNA extraction, qPCR, ddPCR, DNA/RNA quantitation, GMP documentation, and technical report/SOP writing; QX ONE, QX 200, and QuantStudio 7 experience preferred.
• Requires U.S. work authorization without current or future sponsorship; Monday–Friday first shift, no weekends or holidays; compensation range is $60,000–$80,000 per year.
