Secure Technology Apprentice (Cybersecurity Apprenticeship)

Job Description

• Full-time cybersecurity apprenticeship with multiple rotational placements in Caterpillar's IT division, based in Peoria, IL; work mode is not specified.
• Develop a cybersecurity customer portal, remediate vulnerability scans with software developers, and optimize cloud infrastructure.
• Build automated cloud-policy compliance guardrails and write secure cloud implementation configuration guidelines.
• Participate in cyber threat intelligence and project management processes supporting risk-based decisions and commitments to business, dealers, and customers.
• Requires current first-year enrollment at Illinois Central College or Nashville State Community College, a minimum 3.0 GPA, technology/cybersecurity experience or activities, and one faculty reference; visa sponsorship is unavailable and employment requires a drug screen.
