Security Operations Center Analyst

Job Description

• Perform onsite SOC monitoring, alert triage, incident investigation, threat analysis, and proactive threat hunting for global Managed Detection and Response operations.
• Use Sygnia's proprietary Velocity platform and multiple security technologies and log sources to identify, investigate, and respond to security events.
• Develop detection logic, correlation rules, and use cases; distinguish legitimate incidents from false positives and determine response actions.
• Provide clients with timely updates, incident reports, and actionable security recommendations while meeting defined service level objectives.
• Work in Austin five days per week on a rotating Sunday-through-Friday schedule; no specific degree, certification, license, or years of experience requirement is stated.
