Senior Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

Job Description

• Senior Associate Attorney role focused on insurance defense, insurance coverage, and complex civil litigation in Austin, TX.
• Manage substantial caseloads from intake through resolution, including legal research, pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, hearings, trials, settlements, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Provide strategic coverage analysis regarding reservation of rights, indemnity, allocation, and related insurance issues for carriers, insureds, clients, and claims teams.
• Requires a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, admission to practice in relevant state(s), and 5+ years of litigation experience with substantial insurance defense and coverage experience.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff while managing billing, client reporting, case records, and communications.
