Job Description
• Senior Blockchain Engineer role with MoonPay in New York, NY; hybrid schedule with the option to work fully remotely or from the nearest Moonbase.
• Design and operate high-volume transaction broadcasting, lifecycle management, retry/rebroadcast, recovery, monitoring, and observability systems.
• Build wallet infrastructure, cross-chain and multi-step transaction flows, off-chain services interacting with on-chain contracts, and DeFi routing/swap execution systems with MEV awareness.
• Requires strong backend/platform fundamentals, production systems experience, live blockchain production experience, and transaction lifecycle/failure-recovery knowledge; experience with wallet or custody infrastructure and high-throughput or financial systems is strongly valued.
• Full-time position paying $150,000–$210,000 per year; familiarity with UTXO chains, RBF/CPFP, blockchain indexing, event ingestion, ERC-20, SPL, and smart-contract integration is a bonus.
