Senior Consultant - State Government IT IV&V

Job Description

• Senior-level contingent Senior Consultant – IV&V Technical Analyst supporting BerryDunn’s State Government Practice Group and state Finance and Administration agency clients in the United States.
• Lead and support readiness assessments, project health assessments, quality assurance, risk assessments, and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) projects; travel may range up to 50%, although most engagements require 0–10%.
• Provide expertise across project management, software development lifecycle, data migration, integrations, cybersecurity/security controls, system architecture, requirements management, testing, organizational change management, and enterprise software systems.
• Requires expertise in state government system implementations and experience with IV&V, project management, IT systems planning/procurement, business process improvement, independent testing, or quality assurance; PMP certification is a plus.
• Report project risks and issues to executive stakeholders, facilitate client meetings and interviews, advise clients, develop staff, and support Request for Proposal responses; salary is $90,000–$130,000 plus potential discretionary annual bonus.
