Job Description
• Senior Data & Communications Systems Engineer role with Peraton, working onsite at Stennis Space Center, MS, supporting Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC) and the Persistent Subsea Autonomous Profiler (PSAP).
• Build, deploy, secure, and coordinate communications systems and data pipelines for real-time oceanographic and acoustic telemetry, including Iridium EMSS SBD/RUDICS satellite communications and secure bi-directional Command and Control interfaces.
• Ingest, transform, load, and disseminate telemetry and sensor data through METOC, Undersea Warfare/Decision Support System (USW/DSS), Maven Smart Systems (MSS), and downstream defense systems.
• Requires 12 years with BS/BA, 10 years with MS/MA, or 7 years with Ph.D.; Secret Security Clearance; and expertise with Python, Bash, Rust, JavaScript, Zero Trust architecture, NetCDF, network configuration, and technical project management.
• Full-time position with a target salary range of $104,000–$166,000.
