Senior Data Scientist - Fraud Detection

Job Description

• DataVisor is hiring a Senior-Level Data Scientist for its remote, full-time Fraud Detection team.
• Lead the end-to-end development, productionization, and monitoring of fraud detection features and machine learning models using large-scale, noisy, imbalanced datasets.
• Develop predictive features from user behavior, device intelligence, network graphs, and transaction records, and use Spark, SQL, and DataVisor's proprietary AI platform.
• Lead investigations into complex fraud across identities, accounts, devices, and transaction surfaces; reconstruct attacker behavior and hypothesize intent and tooling.
• Produce evidence-backed technical reports, case studies, and customer-facing fraud trend reports for technical, operational, legal, executive, and customer stakeholders.
• Requires a Master's or PhD in a quantitative field, 3+ years of applied fraud detection/cybersecurity or related adversarial-risk experience, strong Python and SQL, production ML lifecycle experience, and proficiency with large-scale data tools and cloud platforms.
