Job Description

• Senior Data Scientist role at PG&E Corporation in Oakland, CA; full-time, hybrid work performed from a remote office and assigned work location.
• Lead machine learning, statistical modeling, Generative AI, predictive modeling, AI application, chatbot, and automated data pipeline initiatives that improve customer experience and business value.
• Analyze structured and unstructured customer, billing, operational, survey, feedback, interaction, and transaction data to support Call Hours, CTS, Escalations, OSAT, and other customer experience priorities.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), plus 5 years of job-related experience; alternatively, a Master’s degree plus 3 years or a Doctorate degree.
• Requires Python, SQL, and machine learning expertise; desired qualifications include utility and customer analytics experience, Teradata, Oracle, Power BI, GenAI, and automated ML/GenAI pipeline experience. Compensation is $126,000-$200,000 annually, with $126,000-$163,000 cited as the expected minimum-to-midpoint range, plus potential discretionary incentive compensation.
