Job Description
• Lead multiple complex warehouse automation and controls projects from design through commissioning, operational turnover, and performance validation.
• Manage automation vendors, system integration contractors, procurement, project budgets, timelines, and operational expenditures.
• Design and troubleshoot material handling, conveyor, mechatronics, PLC, embedded, robotic, electromechanical, IoT, and digital-twin systems.
• Establish PLC version-control, backup, as-built documentation, technical SOP, testing, commissioning, safety, quality, and performance standards supporting GMP, HACCP, and SQF requirements.
• Requires a 4-year engineering degree or equivalent experience, 8+ years in manufacturing/warehouse/fulfillment/industrial environments, and 5+ years designing, programming, and troubleshooting industrial control systems; approximately 25% travel and flex shifts, nights, and weekends may be required.
