Job Description

• Senior Machine Learning Engineer role with The Voleon Group in Berkeley, CA, working at the intersection of AI/ML research, software engineering, mathematics, statistics, and quantitative trading.
• Partner with PhD researchers to design, implement, and productize machine learning models; translate research prototypes into performant, tested, production-ready code.
• Build and maintain data pipelines covering ingestion, feature engineering, validation, monitoring, and remediation of data-quality issues across research and production.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field; 5+ years of professional software engineering experience; deep Python proficiency; and experience with distributed ML systems and Linux.
• Lead projects through delivery, coordinate deployments, guide junior engineers and researchers, and promote engineering standards; full-time position with compensation undisclosed.
