Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Speech & LLM Training Data

Job Description

• Senior Machine Learning Engineer role at Propio in Overland Park, KS; full-time, with work mode not specified.
• Transform large volumes of multilingual conversational audio into training and evaluation datasets for speech, translation, multimodal LLM, and conversational AI systems.
• Own audio-processing, dataset curation, annotation, QA, model training, fine-tuning, post-training, and evaluation workflows.
• Build secure, traceable AWS data and ML pipelines supporting redaction, quality scoring, versioning, lineage, SFT, preference data, DPO/RLHF-style workflows, and synthetic data generation.
• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 5+ years in ML/speech/audio/NLP/LLM training-data workflows, and expertise with Python, SQL, Linux, Git, Docker, PyTorch or Hugging Face, AWS, Databricks/Spark, and speech-processing technologies.
