Senior Manager - Simulator Maintenance and Engineering

Job Description

• Lead the Flight Training Center’s Simulator Operations department, providing maintenance and engineering support for Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs).
• Manage daily operations under an FAA-approved SQMS operating manual and ensure compliance with FAR 121 flight crew training requirements and 14 CFR Part 60.
• Direct FSTD maintenance, engineering, modification, upgrade, performance-monitoring, and acquisition projects, including vendor selection and contracting.
• Prepare and manage department expense and capital budgets, financial justifications, forecasts, vendor quotes, and project rationales.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Maintenance or 4 years of relevant experience; 4+ years with commercial flight simulators, 5+ years under an FAA-approved SQMS program, and 10+ years managing represented and administrative employees.
