Senior MLOps Engineer (Remote)

Job Description

• Remote, full-time Senior MLOps Engineer role with KOHLS, associated with Menomonee Falls, WI, supporting retail and e-commerce machine learning initiatives.
• Design, deploy, operate, and scale production machine learning systems, ETL pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, training environments, and orchestration systems.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers across the full ML lifecycle while developing reusable MLE frameworks, cloud tooling, monitoring, alerting, testing, and documented best practices.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or an equivalent quantitative field, plus 3+ years as a Machine Learning Engineer; 5+ years in Machine Learning is preferred.
• Requires MLOps/DevOps expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, APIs, batch and real-time model serving, automated testing, GCP services including Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Dataproc, Python, Spark, Kubeflow, Airflow, SQL, and ML libraries; Master’s degree, Java, retail/e-commerce, optimization, and agentic AI experience are preferred.
