Senior Project Superintendent - Power Generation (Traveling)

Job Description

• Senior Project Superintendent leading profitable field operations for complex, large industrial power-generation construction projects in Des Moines, IA, with national travel or relocation required based on project needs.
• Establish jobsite safety culture; manage schedules, budgets, staff, subcontractors, and field employees in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Construct projects according to plans, specifications, schedules, and standards; maintain project schedules and prepare two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Requires a high school diploma, at least 8 years of extensive field and project construction management experience, and power-generation experience; industrial experience is strongly preferred.
• Requires construction-document interpretation, construction methods and materials knowledge, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, time-management, and project-organization skills; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
