Senior Substation Engineer 2 - Grid

Job Description

• Senior Substation Engineer role with Sargent & Lundy supporting detailed electrical design and project management for high-voltage substation projects in the electric power engineering industry.
• Hybrid schedule requiring three days per week in the Peachtree Corners, GA office and permitting remote work two days per week; may require travel to client sites.
• Requires a Bachelor of Science Engineering degree and 7 or more years of experience designing Medium Voltage Power Systems; a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, ABET-accredited degree, and substation design experience at 138kV and above are preferred.
• Leads project conceptualization, work planning, execution, troubleshooting, technical reporting, budget and schedule tracking, client interface, and review of design drawings.
• Compensation range is $100,019–$152,807, with potential yearly discretionary bonus; the company does not sponsor U.S. work authorization for this position.
