Senior Systems Administrator

Job Description

• Senior Systems Administrator responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, optimizing, and securing Safran Electronics & Defense's entire IT infrastructure.
• Manage servers, routers, firewalls, Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems, software applications, backups, disaster recovery, and cloud migrations involving AWS and Azure.
• Implement security protocols, access controls, firewalls, data protection measures, patches, upgrades, and performance enhancements to maintain availability and business continuity.
• Diagnose complex technical issues, lead IT projects, document systems and procedures, automate tasks with PowerShell and Python, and serve as an escalation point.
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior IT staff; full-time position in Redmond, WA. No specific education, certification, license, or years-of-experience requirement is stated.
