Job Description
• Architect and build FalconX’s low-latency electronic trading execution platform for digital asset and cryptocurrency markets in New York, NY.
• Develop Rust and Java services, Aeron-based OMS/EMS components, market-data pipelines, venue gateways, SBE schemas, and high-throughput messaging optimized for microsecond latency.
• Integrate exchange connectivity through FIX, REST, WebSocket, and venue-specific protocols while modeling order lifecycles, execution workflows, and institutional trade mechanics.
• Own the full SDLC and collaborate with quant, trading, infrastructure, and data teams in an Agile environment, including sprint planning and team leadership.
• Requires 5+ years of trading-systems experience, strong Rust and/or Java 11+ expertise, Aeron or equivalent messaging experience, relational database skills, and experience supporting monitoring, trade surveillance, reconciliation, and audit compliance.
