Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer (Remote)

Job Description

• Senior vulnerability management engineering role with Irvine Technology Corporation in the cybersecurity industry; long-term contract and fully remote with Pacific Time working hours
• Own and optimize enterprise vulnerability scanning across on-premises, cloud, endpoint, and network environments, including scanners, agents, policies, credentials, and platform health
• Troubleshoot asset discovery, authentication, agent deployment, scanner placement, routing, firewall, and network segmentation coverage gaps
• Analyze critical and high-risk vulnerabilities, prioritize risk, validate false positives, and guide technology teams through remediation
• Requires 5+ years of relevant cybersecurity, security engineering, infrastructure engineering, or network engineering experience; compensation is approximately $65-$75/hour W2 and no visa sponsorship is available
